Weighty teddy bear swing coat in nubby stone grey textured wool.
Open A line cut with single front closure at neckline. Dainty pointed collar.
Raglan set wide bell sleeves with interior button-up cuffs. Buttons are painted molded clay.
Contrasting 'dove grey' accent to interior of cuffs, collar, and front opening.
Sloped shoulders with darting coming down from neckline.
Beautiful interior lining in crimped silvery silk satin with brocade horizontal white stripe.
Union Label circa 1940's.

@madgeisco any info on fabric contents? is it a Fall or Winter coat? The sleeve width across the upper arms is 9" - i.e. across the bicep?

@joycevipond No zipper, just the one button at the collar. It’s open cut is designed as an overcoat with lots of room underneath.
