ABOUT THE ARTIST: Hi I’m CR, creator and founder of CR.CREATES.WA. I’m a WA based self-taught contemporary artist working with a variety of mediums from acrylic paint, watercolor, collage, to pen and paper. My work is robust with playful colors and patterns inspired by the daintiest rose bud to the most bodacious blooms. Mundane and magical moments in life elicit a variety of emotions which flood onto my paper, canvas and wood pieces in vibrant moods. In life it’s important to “stop and smell the roses!” Thanks for pausing to appreciate and support local art. My grandmother painted in oils in her day, and I’ve always hoped some of her talent rubbed off on me ☺️ I’m happy to hear you’re enjoying my work and have found the cats to be adorable! They certainly make for entertaining subjects with the mischief they get into often countered by their sweetness haha!
