Big Red Style was born out of COVID—believe it or not. I have always loved vintage..and crave things that are out of the ordinary. My background has been largely in skincare & retail management. I went to business school, and somehow ended up being a corporate wife—as I moved several times for my husbands job.
While extremely GRaTEfUl for the opportunities the hubs job brought me, I found myself searching for a little bit more—what was I really put here to do?!?

Well, the past few years or so...we’ve been trying to have children. Eight miscarriages said that GOD HAD OTHER PLANS for this girl.
A week before The world shut down due to the corona virus, we decided to finally (!) pursue adoption. 🤗

And then we discovered how much money it would require...especially after the hit of YEARS of infertility treatments. So, I put a few things on #poshmark...and they SOLD! I put a few more things, and they SOLD AGAIN. Then I just kind of got hooked...and the thrifting began. Six months later and $10,000 in the bank, we are well on our way to meeting baby Hall.

For years, I thought becoming a mother would fill that ache for purpose....but I’m learning (humbly!!) that I have my own passions that have been longing to find their moment in the sun...and hopefully is making me a more well rounded mom to be.
So, #poshmark you really have and are changing everything for me. So much gratitude for this community.

Any child would be so blessed to have you as her mom! You sound fabulous and strong. I am trying to make a living doing this but it’s definitely easy to burn out if you don’t have good support and healthy boundaries in your life (I’m talking about me) I dream of a life with a supportive partner and the ability to not stress over how I’m going to pay for essentials. I know I can get there & my dream is to foster or adopt too once I’m finically sound. We all have our own path 🙏✨💕

Laura hi, thank you for your follow, I know what you mean by buying vintage, look war room no.1 ,uniforms,equipment, insignia, boot,shoes,headgear, war room no.2,weapons,communications sets,airborne equipment, etc some 500 uniforms dating from 1747 to 1980s,some things still crated up. anyways, congratulations on the adoption, I'm adopted,.

Thanks for sharing your story! After (9!) years of infertility and allll that goes with it spiritually, emotionally and physically, the Lord blessed us with two beautiful boys. I only share because it always gave me hope to hear about others that had the same struggle. Praying for your happy ending to this trial and that you continue to trust in the Lord 🥰
