Antique 1920's TIFFIN Black Amethyst Satin Glass Poppy Vase with raised molded flowers . This vase is 5 1/4" tall x 6 1/5" in diameter. It is in excellent condition with no chips or cracks. The molded flowers are handpainted with vibrant colors and have a coralene finish. Coralene is a thick enamel paint with tiny glass balls heated into the surface of the glass to make an embossed effect. The matte 'satin' black glass contains three groups of flowers - each different design. While the Tiffin glass vase was made in Tiffin, Ohio by the Tiffin Glass Company, the flowers were beaded by the McCourt Studios, Peacock Products Company in Minneapolis, Minnesota. very good vintage condition some wear to the flowers consistent with its 100 years of being used and enjoyed please check photos carefully
