TLC NWT Jersey Winter White Suit Vintage. C. 1990s. With Original Manufacturer’s tags. Slinky by Picadilly Fashion (Canadian company!) Made in Canada. The “Catch”: in storage dust went through the plastic garment bag. There is a line of marks across the seat of the pants, and on one side. There is a cluster on the lower half of both sleeves. 1) try and wash them in the machine. 2) The jacket will cover most of the pants unless the person is super long waisted. Or for someone who is mobility reduced. 3) The jacket sleeves are VERY LONG and hemming or scrunching them might work for you. 4) I’ve reduced the price to reflect these marks. Super COMFORTABLE Oversized High Waisted pants (generous fit). VERY EASY to pull on (stretchy elastic waistband). Dressy casual for travel, evenings, weddings, baby showers and everyday. Drapes well and Feels GOOD to wear. Soft rounded shoulder pads to fill out shoulders. Tag colour: White (but it’s a creamy winter white compared to the blue white tank shown) Tag size: XL (very generous!) Jacket: Pit to pit: 26” Length from rear neckline: 25.5” Sleeve from shoulder seam: 25” Pants: Waistband: 17” Inseam: 14” Length from waistband: 41” Hips: 24” Width upper pant: 12.5” Width pant hem: 8”

prairieskygirl @kpriscott hi, I think the rise is 14”, not the inseam. 😊 could i trouble you for the leg inseam, please? Have you had dust on any other outfits and did it wash out?

kpriscott @prairieskygirl I measured the rise/inseam from the bottom of the crotch to the waistband. Is that the rise?

prairieskygirl
prairieskygirl @kpriscott yes, that’s the rise. I never pay much attention to that measurement but it’s nice to know. For a taller person like myself, it’s the inseam that’s important….crotch to the bottom. 😊

prairieskygirl Awww, I am surprised and disappointed that the inseam is so short. It looked so long in the photos! Thanks for doing that!

prairieskygirl I noticed the way you arrived at the inseam. I have a pair of pants with an outer of 41”, a rise of 17”, and the inseam is 31”. You don’t get the inseam measurement by subtracting, or the inseam in mine would be 24”. 😊

kpriscott @prairieskygirl ooh I think I need a diagram! I will google 😀 sorry it doesn’t work for you and me 😂

prairieskygirl @kpriscott Me sorry, too. Here: lay the pants on the bed. Lift one leg up and away from the other. You should be looking at the inside seam. That’s the one you measure, from the intersection of seams in the crotch. ….down to the bottom. That’s your inseam measurement!

kpriscott @prairieskygirl thank you! I should look up how to get all measurements because I thought that was the leg! 🤣
