TLC New vintage SS Opal dainty pendant charm Pretty milky white-blue opaque gem! Natural Visible inclusions. Pearlescent- opalescent SPARKS of green visible as it catches the light. Simple tiny oval cabochon held by 4 prongs inside a goldtone minimalist frame: an oval with flat top and bottom. Looks like a Louis Vuitton cross on the reverse! 😀😉🇫🇷🤫🤑 4x8 mm overall not including ring & bail, x 4 mm high 3x6 Opal 2 mm tall mount 3x5 mm bail at thickest New vintage c. 1970s. Opal. Sterling silver with some sort of gold plating. Hallmarks on the bail: “SS”, “??” (Looks like an “L” Within an “L”). Probably from same company as Karatclad opals. There are many other pieces in this collection! October birthstone Note: - some spots are darker and I polished with toothpaste and warm water: bail reverse, bottom flat end of setting. - there is a crack or cut across the top. It is unpolished. Probably came that way and I never noticed. It looks like a white streak.
