My wife and I wish to personally thank every Posher who supports us with follows, comments, shares, likes, and encouragement. We truly enjoy reciprocating and meeting each and every one. Additionally, similar to many of our antiques, we enjoy purchasing brands of quality and that continue to remain "timeless." ƳeOldeSybariteShoppe Inventory acquired within prior travels, appraisal arts, and private LLC & Ltd. All inventory has been previously authenticated and appraised by Member ISA, Certified ASA, USPAP, and Mearto appraisers. We do not provide costly legal binding documents for legitimate purposes, but do include comprehensive written descriptions accompanying each and all sales. Pristidae Genus: Exceptional condition. Totaling 52 original teeth (26 per side of bill) are intact. Devoid of restorations. Extremely rare in this size, age, and overall condition. Approached by and temporarily granted to various endangered species organizations inclusive of the Sawfish Conservation Society (SCS) for analysis. More customary and diminutive specimens have previously sold in the $1500-$7000 price range prior to the illegalities of sale in 2003. Our heirloom was originally acquired from Christie's Auction House, London, prior to becoming an endangered species and listed within the Endangered Species Act in 2003. Our featured rostrum is not available for sale or trade but will be donated for further examination of rare species in general. L 54.5" x W 5.2"

sybaritica @stormtreasures I believe you are much too generous with your compliment. Alternatively, I am giving you the well-deserved accolades. I will return my perusal and assessment with future purchases. On that note, the item is sent a like to was underpriced upon my initial opinion. Is there some evidence of "pitting"? Perhaps the reason it was actually priced fairly.

Will text you again later this week and refer and "share". Also, may I ask you, if ever uncertain regarding a provenance, please inquire . Although relatively expensive, it would be a pleasure to offer my services or humble opinion pro bono.

sybaritica @stormtreasures Apologies, I am unfamiliar with respect of reaching you, apart from my "about" page. The sterling tray was $3500. It is more than likely still salvageable, but in my prior experience with museum silversmiths, I recommend immediate attention. I do hope I've helped a bit. Anything for my new friend.
