TOAST by SOLOVAIR Black Leather Monk Strap Shoes

Sturdy black leather upper. Classic monk strap fastening with a buckle to one side. Goodyear welted, air cushioned and very comfortable PVC sole. Designed by TOAST and handmade in Northamptonshire by Solovair. Sustainable in that a new sole can be put back onto the original last by any good cobbler. 100% leather upper, 100% leather lining, PVC Sole Heel height 3cm Still handmade in England by a company that's been making footwear since 1881. Solovair is the company that first manufactured Doc Martens' boots in 1960's - before Doc Marten sent their manufacturing offshore to Asian plants. Tagged a size UK 6 and sadly too small for my size 9 feet so listing as 8.5 but check the provided insole measurement (pictured) to confirm. As new but for a few creases but not even fully broken in yet.
