It has a Japanese Quartz Synch Movement Motor and is water resistant. There are 12 tiny diamonds on the outer rim of the watch face. The watch band has an internal diameter that will fit a wrist a little loosely at 7 1/2" and snug at 8" but you will need to purchase more links if you need it to be bigger and remove links to make it smaller. Issues: The watch does have some mild signs of scuffing abrasions to the top of the stainless steel faces, on the sides and bottom Parts of the band along with about 6 very small surface scratches on the glass face but PLEASE NOTE that none of these cosmetic issues are really noticeable when worn but I must disclose them so you can make the best decision for yourself.
