Terracotta Mayan Head Bust of the God Kukulkan

A terracotta head of the Mayan serpent god, Kukulcan. The figure likely comes from the Yucatan in Mexico where his worship was once centered. The figure has black with white, blue and white stripes painted on its face, There is some damage to the nose, please consult the pictures. The bust is 7" tall, 6 1/4" wide and 4 3/4" deep.
