Tevrow + Chase was founded in 2005 by former Vogue editor Paul Sinclaire and Club Monaco/Pink Tartan founder Joseph Mimran.
The line, made in Canada, focused on quality fabrics and construction and classic tailoring. It was sold at T+C's flagship store in Toronto and also at high-end US department stores like Saks Fifth Avenue and Neiman Marcus. The company ceased operations in 2009.
Despite its short life, Tevrow + Chase managed to become a celebrity favorite. The brand's pants were featured as one of Oprah’s Favorite Things, and one of the company's striped shirts was worn by Gwen Stefani in her "The Sweet Escape" music video. I loved this line while it lasted and still have a beautiful, impeccably tailored black wool dress in my wardrobe.
