Texcoco signed Green Glazed Ehecatl Quetzalcoatl Aztec God small dish. EUC.

This lovely Texcoco marked trinket dish is probably from the 1980s or 90s. It features the inverted image of Ehcatl glazed in green and red with a matte black surround. It is in very good condition with no chips or cracks in the clay, but there is a spot of glaze loss over the left eye (see pictures). Ehecatl was an Aztec and Mesoamerican god of wind and air. He was an important deity for those cultures and was related to legends about the creation of the world. He is considered to be one of the forms of the main god Quetzalcoatl.
