Thai silver collar

This piece was bought in northern Thailand nearly 40 years ago, but the simple design is timeless. Since there is no hallmark, it's likely silver plate, which does make it easier to keep shiny! Alternating bands of plain and "roped" silver form the collar, which simply slides onto your neck. Once in place, it stays put! There is some flex in the metal so it can be adjusted slightly. A simple but striking piece.
