The Bawa wood Tibetan Chod Damaru is a traditional musical instrument from Tibet

The damaru is made from a hollowed-out piece of bawa wood. It had two small drumheads at either end. Which are stuck with a pair of wood beaters. This instrument is knows for its distinctive, high pitched sound,which is said to have spiritual significance in Tibetan culture.
