rhondibruce is there a date on the bottle... I know the body shop had the original vanilla from the early 90s then they came out with a different scent of vanilla was much lighter in colour. I'm guessing since you said discontinued in 2012, that it is the later vanilla.

petertorky @baeeechael Hi, this is from the early 2000s (that they used to fill the smaller bottles with the white lid )It has a lighter scent than the original first vanilla oil from the 90s which was deeper.It is new and sealed so I haven't smelled it but that's the information I got when I got it.
