This is The Canadian Speller - Book Two for grades 7 to 9 written by Frank M. Quance, published by W. J. Gage & Co. in 1948, and authorized by the Minister of Education for Ontario. It has brown cloth covered boards with lettering and decoration in dark red. It is worn on the covers and spine having some bumped corners, smudges and some stains on the back. The inside pages are intact having some smudges, bent corners, notes and ink marks. Please see the photos. It would make a wonderful gift for a teacher or author.
