The outer shell has a built in snow skirt to keep snow from going up your little one’s back. The outer shell also has a hood. The inner fleece zips in and has snaps at the cuffs that secure it in the sleeves of the outer shell jacket. The outer shell can be worn as a lighter weight jacket on its own without the fleece liner if you need a water resistant and wind resistant coat but don’t need as much warmth.
