The Girl on the Train is a 2016 psychological thriller based on the novel by Paula Hawkins. The story revolves around Rachel Watson (Emily Blunt), a divorced woman struggling with severe alcoholism and depression. Every day, Rachel takes the commuter train, pretending she still has her job, and compulsively observes the lives of the people who live in the houses the train passes.
