The Kiss Given/La Baiser Rendu by Austin Productions

A vintage statue made by Austin Productions in 1967, "The Kiss Given" (La Baiser Rendu in French). It is a copy of the original 1778 work by Jean Antoine Houdon in France. It features a couple in classic garb kissing. Some of the paint has flecked off as in the pictures. It is 8" tall, 5 1/2" wide and the base is 2 5/8" in diameter. The piece is made of Durastone; Austin Productions would grind stone into dust and mix it into a slurry for these statues.
