The Old Curiosity Shop Fine China Cottage by Coalport England

This miniature was produced in the Coalport factory in Stoke on Trent, Staffordshire. Designed by Arnold Woolam and produced between 1974 and 1990. This cottage was one of several made to imitate the original pastille burners produced by Coalport in the 19th century. The original pastille burners had an open back door and hollow chimneys and were used to freshen the air in Victorian homes.This example is purely decorative. This cottage is in MINT condition. There are no cracks, chips or flaws and all of the flowers are intact. Height: 4½ inches (115mm)
