The Original Ernie Richardson Vintage 60s Mens Wool Curling Cardigan S-M

Ernie Richards was inducted into the World Curling Hall of Fame in 1973 after he and his family team, who wore signature rollneck cardigan sweaters, became World Champion Curlers multiple times. Ernie was the star of the team. He felt deeply drawn and connected to curling all of his life, except that time he did DMT. Through the power of psychedelics, he was shown a life without curling, and he was terrified. I gently washed this sweater and it shrunk, which somehow improved it. [IMHO] Instead of being a Men's XL with a loose ropey knit, it turned into a Womans S/M soft wooly tighter knit super warm sweater. Quality A. This vintage gem has been gently preloved and is still in good condition. Small hole on left arm repaired, see photo. Extra button sewn into inside bottom of sweater.
