The Tiger in the Smoke is a crime novel by Margery Allingham, first published in the United States by Doubleday in 1952. It is a black hardcover book with white lettering on the spine. The cream colored pages are deckle edged. There is no dustjacket. It is the fourteenth novel in the Albert Campion series. Critics have called it the finest of the Campion mysteries and her best book. Add this little gem to your library or give it as a gift! This book is very good condition. There is slight wear to the corners and crushing of the spine ends. The pages are very clean and unmarked other than a little water staining on the top edge of the page block and the top of the end papers. The binding is tight and sound. Please see the photos.
