“The last department store” acrylic painting

Vibrant art piece featuring the iconic Hudson's Bay building. Bold yellow and blue colors create a striking contrast. I used to work here so I painted our slowly dying retail giant. I painted it empty on purpose, I feel sad for my friends who have devoted so much of their lives to this store just to watch it slowly die out from under them. Change is scary and I hope they have positive futures ahead. I call this painting “The Last Department Store” Acrylic paint 6x8”
