I am following you! I try to experiment with colors given my fair skin, dark hair and green eyes. Pretty flexible with eye colors but lip shades I stick to berry, reds or deeper colors nudes make me look washed out and bright pinks just...no. I am sure I will be doing business with you soon!

@carajames you might just need the right toned nude! I can't do coral pinks so i understand. Had to sell my peach palette it looked so bad on me. Red hair and blue eyes makes me look sick when i wear those tones. Do you have a warm or cool undertone?

@carajames yes and if I remember correctly the particular person who started the conversation on that post is actually the one who sold me fake items to begin with LOL. Of course I am not on here to argue. I do not have a single review about my stuff being fake out of almost 50 and I don't sell used Walmart makeup for the most part. Don't get me wrong drugstore makeup can be great! But as somebody who dumps serious cash into makeup, I don't need cheap impersonations lol

But at the same time due to that negative experience I have found a very well-known makeup artist who is now my Kat Von D supplier LOL and she always gives me a great deal and I never have to worry about the quality!

@carajames so let's see, warm undertone, green eyes & dark hair. I am thinking any kind of gold/dirty copper eyeshadow would look amazing as well as blue purples. I have blue eyes and red hair and a warm undertone & can pull up jewel tones really well! I just can't do pastels. I'm thinking for the perfect nude lip that it would either be Kat Von D bow and arrow or one of her new shades that is launching in the next couple months. You could also consider Jeffree Star Celebrity Skin or Gemini.

@ocdginger I would love to try some gold/dirty copper pigments for daily use and purples or olives (whatever you think) for fun or formal events. Any dark liner that applies smoothly for thin lines. I would try any nude or neutral lip shade with a complimentary liner as well as reds, which I love.π thank you for your time and kindness, I really appreciate it.π

@ocdginger I am glad that out of a bad experience came a great opportunity which you well deserve. I appreciate your approach; I read one of your interactions with a seller who sold you lipstick that was not authentic whom gave the benefit of the doubt by addressing the issue politely on your page. One must be careful on here or any other 3rd party selling site and sadly sellers of fakes may try to slander honest, good people like you to appear trustworthy.

Sorry I was MIA this week definitely interested in a z palette with pigments, I trust your selections. I want that KvD lipstick and of course Jeffrey Star Rich Blood. Would try Kylie shades I like the liquid lipshade with matte liner. I would say for palette around 50 or so, 100 for a bundle with lipstick(s) and maybe a good liquid liner. I love Lorac too. π

Do you sanitize your make up if itβs gently used. Iβve never purchased before on Poshmark and Iβm unsure if it would also affect the quality of the make up if itβs sprayed with alcohol? I just donβt know enough about it. Sorry??

@reneearnold442 I spray my makeup with 91% alcohol. Is enough to kill all the bacteria but evaporates fast enough that it does not change the product. This is a technique used by many makeup artists to keep their makeup clean when moving from client to client. Sanitation wise is in the best that I can do for my makeup and I am a very clean person but I understand your concern.

Thank you for the response and not taking my question the wrong way. This is the first time that Iβve been on Poshmark. I just love Natasha Denonaβs creamy matte formula and wondered if it would take away some of the ease of her formula application if they got wet, but your explanation was perfect!! Iβm still trying to decide if the colors would look too warm and orangey on my hooded, older eyelids. I love her camel palette, though!! πβ€οΈ

I actually found the sanitation point of it from YouTube. I believe it was Wayne Goss. and please never shy away from asking a question! @reneearnold442 I have her camel palette and I adore it! I have seriously thought about depotting this, and giving the shades that I don't like to someone else. That is only if it does not sell for what I'm asking. I don't think they pull to Orange but they definitely pull warm so if you have a cool skin tone, this might not be the best option for you. Just keeping it honest.

Thatβs so funny that you say that because thatβs probably what Iβll end up doing is putting a few more mattes into the palette and taking out a few of the shimmers. The shades in the tropic palette seem more mid tone and lighter. Something that Iβm missing in some of her other palettes. Do you feel that the mattes in this palette are different than her safari palette? I ended up returning that one because I didnβt like how patchy they were and hard to blend.

@reneearnold442 I really like the mattes in this palette, and actually considered keeping the entire thing just because there's like five Shades that I adore but that is such a waste LOL. The Tiger Lily shade is workable if you dig under the top layer. It's actually quite beautiful but that is the same for all of them. Once I dug into that one I decided I did not want to dig into the other ones cuz I didn't know if I wanted to keep it

@reneearnold442 but if you like push under that first layer the color payoff is gorgeous you just have to get there LOL but like I said I didn't want to destroy the rest of them if somebody else is going to buy the palette because they can do that themselves lol but yes the mattes are not like the Safari palette. They are very smooth and buildable and last all day.
