My name is Catherine, I go by cat! My husbands an Army man for years now we have two beautiful kids together and are both working hard towards our goals in life! Wow your progress is amazing!! You look great!! I have a thyroid disease and recently gained quite a bit of weight when my thyroid was acting up and just can't seem to loose it. How did you get started? Did you go to a personal trainer or start on any program or anything? It looks like YOU could be the personal trainer!! 😍

@km_defeo means so much to me thank you!! I always attempted then would go back to doing my old habits but I have anxiety and it's really the only time I'm in control of that and really helps me. But my point of no return was in October.
My dad took his life and there are a lot of things regrets you can't take back and that pushed me once I was in it for a month I couldn't stop!

@km_defeo it's a total lifestyle change, mentally and physically I started off scared I was being judged and didn't wanna try machines I didn't no how to use but I eventually just asked people and got over it. Every week is another week stronger and heavier in weighs! No trainer I don't think people should have to pay to be healthy or want to be a better them! It's one day at a time and proud of every pump or step!

@km_defeo I did a lot of changing of my diet as well it was so hard but after doing it for a few weeks I couldn't go back it would make me sick to eat junk. Research was my best friend figuring out what in the hell macros and micros were and how I could hit my goals with eating everyday. Learning there really is easy access to healthy tasty foods we just don't see it because of all the processed stuff they have out!

@rowergurl06 I am so sorry to hear about your dad. I can't imagine the pain you and your family have gone through. You are an inspiration taking something that could ruin a person and using it to propel such positive changes for yourself! Thank you so much for all of the tips. @nia1113 getting me all teared up! The words of encouragement means so much to me. It was quiet the emotional experience and still is, in a sense it's a therapy to my soul. I've finally learned to love myself and I don't just mean the human form my soul enhabits for now I mean my soul! So how ever my soul wants to be seen or heard my body is just the expression, the power is absolutely within all of us, so diverse and beautiful! Good vibes always

I just started 4 months ago and have lost almost 15 lbs and changed my eating and going to the gym and boot camp but I can't understand how to slim down in my mid section and legs what do you do to get where you are?

@rwynn10 that's awesome!!! Great first steps so obviously the hardest part is really cracking down on your food intake! Do you have the app my fitness pal that's how I track my macros super importnant. Sleep and eat more important then workout. I lift! It's what I really enjoy not cross fit just regular weights dumbbells machines. I started low weight worked up each week. I trick my body with what work outs I do.

@rwynn10 checking out instagram videos helps give me concept of variety on what kind of workouts to try!
I do different days quad/calves, back, shoulder, hammstring/bum, chest, biceps/triceps! Legs have to be split up there are so many muscles in there

@rwynn10 I usually commit a good hour and half two hours to lifting then hit cardio I also mix that up elliptical at incline and heavy resistance, stair climber, look up HIT training! Then Sunday is like a rest day or whatever day.my rest day falls on.i do light cardio and core. In every activity I do I focused on my core that it's tight during the entire workout even during the day!

Ty im just starting out and have alot to learn but im excited to be fit and I have already came along way I have changed my lifestyle of eating I tell everyone it's not a diet it's a lifestyle change of eating clean and healthy

@rwynn10 exactly it really is and it's a hard transition in my opinion! I'm not vegan I have a few vegan friends but I recently well like 5 months ago gave up meat and it's drastically changed my body hair skin etc. Deff look into what meat does to the body and how long it takes to break down!!!

I absolutely love that we are all different shapes, it's like a sculpture lol. Honestly the number one thing that helped was food! I still eat junk just junk meant for our bodies. Watch what the health on netflix.

@carly_rose85 changed our lives, we are a vegan family people say it's not possible or its hard it's pretty easy and honestly today's society makes it easy they make "meatless meats" seasoned for you that are amazing wouldn't no the difference gardien is the brand check it out!
