Published in 1904, from the 1888 translation/edition of the 1612 copy of The Imitation of Christ.
From Wikipedia: "Thomas à Kempis, (c. 1380 – 25 July 1471) was a German-Dutch Catholic canon regular of the late medieval period and the author of The Imitation of Christ, published anonymously in Latin in the Netherlands c. 1418–1427, one of the most popular and best known Christian devotional books. His name means "Thomas of Kempen",[a] Kempen being his home town."
The book is inscribed with the name of its owner Rev. Percival Morland Lamb in Feb 1910, when he was a student at Trinity College, U of T. This book is from my Father's library of antique books. The back of the spine has fallen off, otherwise the binding is in good condition for its age.
