These glasses are more for FASHION styling than used to read as the lenses are a +1.00, but can swap out for lenses prescribed by eye doctor. The fames are made of a high quality coated thin metal frames with the serial number on the bridge of the nose and on 1 arm in brownish red colour. They are also made in Italy. So as this is not being sold as prescription glasses you will have to have them replace with a prescription that is for your eyes.
