sjbell1956 @shopping4mycat Sorry I'm so late in replying. The chain doesn't have a clasp and cannot be seperated from the heart. It could be done by a jeweller.

shopping4mycat @sjbell1956 Ok. Well thank you all the same. I have a similar version (smaller) and the chain is one solid piece but it’s looped through the heart in such a way that it can be removed. I had hoped that your was the same ☹️.
