Highly replicated, the imitation version of this necklace will have hallmarks that SAY the same things, but the quality just doesn’t match up. See first pic — the lines on not real ones are sometimes too rounded, and sometimes too straight and too long. In subsequent pics, you can see the hallmarks are EXTREMELY crisp no matter how much you zoom them. What to do if you bought something for $650 (but under $700), and you don’t believe it’s real. If it has diamonds, make sure you use a diamond tester to confirm that the diamonds are real. If they are but you’re still not convinced, open a case and say you have your doubts and let Poshmark authenticate for you. Happy and safe Poshing!

hannahjohnny Thanks for helping out buyers on posh. I just got blocked for pointing out someone’s obviously fake item. Just know that these posts are helping people out and your efforts have been seen.

mydalythrifting @hannahjohnny she’s completely unhinged lol I’m sure I’ll be blocked for my comment as well. The defense she took was wild. Any legitimate seller would not react this way. You did nothing wrong!

hannahjohnny @mydalythrifting That crazy reaction did give me a good laugh. I never accused her of knowingly selling a fake because it could have been gifted or she was duped herself. She also has two other sold listing with that necklace which is odd. It’s crazy because it looks like most of her things are authentic.

luckhena @hannahjohnny I noticed that she sold the necklace previously before too! Maybe it was returned because posh checked its authenticity? But their reaction was quite extreme, even dragging the other person into it 😦

queenbeemelgee @luckhena she is buying multiples from cheap sites because she makes a killing on them. Maybe someone has been smart enough to open a case and return it, but I think at least one person has gotten stuck with one not realizing it’s fake

mydalythrifting @queenbeemelgee that’s so sad!! I’m glad you are posting it so people are aware and it shows up in the feed directly beside hers

luckhena @queenbeemelgee oh no, that’s heartbreaking. i’m okay with replicas so long as it’s disclosed first. but it’s not fair for people who don’t know. thanks for keeping people informed! 🙌🏼

queenbeemelgee @luckhena yes, I’m not crazy about them because they tend to be part of a broader culture of organized crime, money laundering, human trafficking etc., but at least if the seller is honest and buyers know what they’re getting it’s fair. What she’s doing is straight up scamming people.

mydalythrifting @queenbeemelgee @luckhena @hannahjohnny none of her designer stuff is real. I looked at all her solds and they don’t even make sense and there are no real photos of these items. I wouldn’t trust the “solds” just keep reporting her closet. I’m sure there are a few pieces here and there that may be authentic just for proof but I would not trust it to be honest. And the fact that most items are under $750 which is the threshold to send to posh to verify is a big red flag

luckhena @mydalythrifting agreed! i always tread with caution when there’s a listing with only the official brand photos no matter the price. great job for calling her out on her inappropriate behaviour! 🙌🏼

queenbeemelgee @mydalythrifting true — the threshold is $700 though

mydalythrifting @luckhena she hasn’t even blocked me yet for it lol but I’m a reputable seller of 5 years so she can say whatever she wants. I actually have receipts lol

mydalythrifting @hannahjohnny she deleted her listing then came to one of my listings and made a snarky comment Lol
