Timeless Vintage Canadian Holt Renfrew Blue Wool Tunic/Dress

Vintage Holt Renfrew, Collection 1300. Navy blue. Cowl neck, batwing sleeves with dark purple button-up shoulders and two front pockets. A timeless piece. This is a piece donated from my fabulous artist and fashionista aunt’s closet, likely purchased in Stratford, Ontario in the 70s or 80s. With her signature slash of red lipstick, bold earrings and pan booties, she looked dynamite in this dress! The cut/style is generous through the chest due to batwing sleeves and then tapers into a straight cut through waist and hips. I’m not certain if the best way “in” is stepping through the top via opening of shoulder panels, or over the head through the bottom. Fabric seems to be a lightweight, tightly-knit wool. Made in Canada. +++++++ CONDITION: > Well cared for, excellent vintage condition with no defects. +++++++ FIT & APPROXIMATE LAY FLAT MEASUREMENTS: Size/fabric/care label is faded but we’re guessing this is a size 8 or 10, based on other pieces in my aunt’s closet.
