Terrific coat to keep you warm outside in the winter. The full length keeps your legs warm too, and blocks the wind. The snorkel-style collar wraps around your head like a scarf, which is awesome and so cozy. Functional, insulated hood. Warm duck down insulation. Shiny nylon black exterior, looks great at night. Ribbed cuffs at the arms to keep the wind out, a thoughtful touch, and side pockets in case you forgot your gloves. I didn't like the belt it came with: it was flimsy with no buckle, so you just had to tie it off like a bathrobe and of course it came undone all the time. So I sourced a military-spec adjustable black belt with a buckle, which looks great and gives you some shape back at the waist. I lost the original belt, so you get only this upgraded one. I think it looks great. Of course, you can also wear it without the belt, then it's just a clean A-line shape. Very functional and stylish outerwear from the GAP. Great for walking the dog, apres-ski, school runs, office wear over your pencil skirt, or just looking stylish on deep winter date nights.
