virginialoneill ALERT ‼️ NEVER respond to requests or inquiries by text or email. Only Scammers will ask you to communicate outside of the PoshMark application. The first 2 requests are both Scams And have been reported to PoshMark. Asking you to send more photos by text or email is the most common Scam. Nothing wrong with the photos you have already posted. Be cautious.

virginialoneill @rebeccapetch18 You immediately stop communicating with them and ignore any further communication from them. Scammers will tell you they purchased your item to lure you away from the PoshMark application. When a person goes through the proper PoshMark steps to make a purchase you will be advised by PoshMark that is had been sold.

virginialoneill PoshMark will handle the financial piece of the transaction by collecting the purchase price plus the shipping costs & taxes. They will then send you a shipping label to mail your package to the Purchaser.

rebeccapetch18 @virginialoneill but I didn't go through with the final part of the purchase because I'm new and i know people will trick me!! if I do not accept that will poshmark give that person their money back even when I will not accept their offer even when they payed?

virginialoneill @rebeccapetch18 When SOLD You will be advised by PoshMark and PoshMark will put a SOLD label on your item. You will never need to get involved in the purchase other than agreeing on a price and possibly answering any questions they might have in the comments section of the listing. For your own safety you should never have any direct contact with people.

virginialoneill @rebeccapetch18 If they agree to pay your asking price then the sale is final and you must ship the item to the Purchaser. If they make an offer for a lower price and you decline it, there is no sale. However, if you accept their offer at the lower price then you have committed to the sale and must ship it to the Purchaser.

virginialoneill @rebeccapetch18 No, not if they have paid the price you have listed it for. Also no if you have accepted their offer to pay a lower price. Once they have paid, PoshMark will interpret this as both parties having agreed on a price, the sale is final and you are both bound to the terms.
