Tomo “Dress”

I think of this piece more as an underpinning than a dress although it is a dress and can certainly be worn alone. It does have two subtle seams in the back to provide shape and it also has a very subtle a-line shape so it will hang well on the body. Designed in Germany by German designer Tomo, it’s a quality piece. The fabric is a cotton blend jersey with 95 percent cotton and 5 percent elastane to hold shape. I recall it was ridiculously expensive. If you like pieces like this that can be layered easily and the colour works for you, this will be a nice find. This colour does not work for me - I have this same piece in black and reach for it all the time (price per wear paid off on the black one) It’s a dream to layer under things. A nice taupe shade for year round wear. Pair with cream colours.
