Torrid White Plaid Sleeveless Front Tie Blouse

This sleeveless blouse by Torrid is made of 100% polyester and is white/slightly off-white with a simple plaid-like pattern made of short dark blue lines (most visible in the label pics). The shirt buttons down the front and has a tunic-like (lack of) collar. There is nice darting throughout that gives the top a little structure, but the most interesting part of this top is the front tie (pics 4 and 5). Undone, I admit I was a little skeptical because it looks a little silly and flat. However, once you tie the front, the extra bits of fabric are pulled towards the center and the tie and pattern work well together to help "disguise" areas that people are often self-conscious of, without going overboard and making it obvious. It surprised me, I quite like it. The top has normal wear, but no issues affecting wearability. This piece is marked as a (Torrid) size 1 (1XL elsewhere) but seems to measure more like a size 2 (2XL). This may suggest a looser intended fit, but it may also be to allow those front ties to work their fabric gathering magic.
