Rare Town of Amherst Nova Scotia Crest Pin & Original Presentation Card
A unique piece of municipal and sports history from the Town of Amherst, Nova Scotia. This is the official town crest/logo lapel pin presented with a complimentary card from Edward (Red) Faulkner, the Director of Amherst Leisure Services, who served the town for 30 years until 2002.
The card text mentions the pin being part of "AMHERST'S Bid for the 19-- National Championship" (the year is intentionally left blank for the bid). This item is highly collectible for those interested in Canadian local history, municipal pins, or sports bid memorabilia.
Condition:
Pin: The enamel pin itself is in excellent, near-mint condition. The blue and yellow enamel is fully intact with no chips or scratches.
Card: The card is in good vintage condition with some natural yellowing and minor edge wear from storage, as visible in the photos. The text is clear and fully legible.
Packaging: Comes complete with the original presentation card, making this a highly desirable set.
