Traditional Hand made vintage moccasins for your little one-reclaimed leather

Many of the traditional baby moccasins were made of reclaimed leather from various pieces of pre used leather. This was done to save on resources and recycle as not to waste. Recycling, reclaiming was a part of our culture. It was appreciated and because a life was given they respected that life in many forms and to not waste the gift given. The beads are traditional too. Glass Pony beads, also likely recycled, are crafted on to the bodice of the moccasin. These were given with love always, often made by a family member of the newborn. These are nice to hang or to sit on a shelf.
