Traditional Japanese Kimono Jacket Black & Red Floral Print - US M

One of a kind handmade Japanese kimono jacket bought at an outdoor vintage market in Osaka, Japan decades ago. Pit to pit 22 inches, and length 27 inches. Beautiful fabric featuring red floral print. Believe it is cotton, but not sure. In excellent condition. I took pictures of some if the flowers showing wear/age, and there are some flowers on the bottom back and on the back, right arm where the material on the flowers has been rubbed against something and been slightly damaged. Because the signs of wear/age shows mostly on the flower prints, these flaws are hidden well when you look at the jacket (check photos). Spots where the colour has faded on the black and red might be able to be fixed with fabric markers. The lining is in excellent shape except for one small stain under the left inner arm. Whoever made this jacket was gifted. The print makes me think of Japanese anime characters. I bought this jacket because I love cherry blossoms and was drawn to the print, but I have never worn it. It has been washed on the gentle cycle and air dried. The ties are wrapped in obi like material. It needs to be used. Because of the age/wear, I have decided to lower its price so that it reflects these imperfections. Posting it now in time for Hallowe'en, but I can see it being worn for Cosplay at a Comicon event. Could be rocked as a funky jacket, too. 😉 From a pet-free, smoke-free home.
