Tree of Life Shawl

Black tasseled and fringed blanket/shawl with traditional Native Mexican Hand-Embroidery 88" x 31" The tree of life represents the afterlife and the connection between the earth and heaven. Tree of life imagery and artisanal craftsmanship makes this shawl real, wearable art. This black shawl is first handwoven on small looms, the yarns are a cotton-acrylic blend 50/50. The colorful “tree of life” design, which includes all kinds of Native flowers, butterflies, berries, and animal imageries are all hand embroidered. The ends of the blanket are left loose and long. They are gathered and handwoven into fringed tassels.
