Rare vintage from the 1980’s and a steal at that price. Burgundy is the new neutral colour and belts are back according to fashionistas for these coming Spring & Summer fashion seasons. Wear them on your dress, pants, shorts,skirts but also on your jackets & blazers. The red colour in the leather has a burgundy tone: the colour of a Beaujolais nouveau, latest cuvée (October 2024) 😜just kidding! In excellent new condition (never used): real leather with well spaced imprints not sure what animal skin, they are trying to imitate or it is, I think it is alligator. Please help anyone? Closure and end are timeless designed with modern geometric gold and silver metal work. Marked as large (see measurements below, as vintage sizes are smaller than contemporary one’s) Width: 1.5 inches Length (excluding buckle) : 37 inches Useful length (to last hole): 35 inches You could gain about an extra inch and half by making an extra hole. Mannequin is size small so belt had to be attached at hip level. They were expensive then and they are still now: saw many ads from $40 to $150. Knackmixing ideas: please see pictures with some colours that are in harmony with burgundy. It goes nicely with yellow and mocha mousse, the hot colours on the runways for Spring 2025. You can also elevate a denim outfit with it. Suitable for a gift and made in Canada.
