Trevor Pitt Australian art pottery vase, folk and ethnic Native American art

This is a lovely vintage Australian studio pottery vase. It was made by Trevor Pitt and is from his "Sandstone" range. It has a sandy texture created using a special porcelain slip and dyed with ceramic stains and oxides. The design is an Outback desert scene with a single tree. The interior is glazed so the vase is functional and it has a gilded rim. There is a backstamp on the base. Measures approximately 4”x4” In very good condition with no chips or cracks. Tiny bit of black paint smudge on front. see photos.
