Trippen leather lace up ghillie-style Mary Jane shoes

Gorgeous black leather flats made by renowned German avant garde designer Trippen — these are kind of a Mary Jane, kind of an Oxford, but really they most resemble the “ghillie” style leather shoes we wore when I was a Highland (Scottish) dancer in my youth! Similar to the Irish version you would see as well (think Riverdance) This is a classic sort of Northern European style either way, and I’ve been seeing it lately from different designers such as Bode and Naguisa among others These are very comfortable and are built to last forever but are just a little too big for me. They are marked size 36, but are definitely on the side side and fit as a 6, not a 5.5
