True First Edition - Hemingway - The Old Man and the Sea

A true first edition, first printing copy of Ernest Hemingway's The Old Man and the Sea. Published 1952 with publisher's colophon and "A" on the copyright page. Blue tinting on Hemingway's photograph, $3 price present on dust jacket. Book is in near fine condition with minor rubbing along edges and corners. Beautiful blue cloth on boards with minor wear on the silver, clear lettering. Spine is not loose. Dust jacket is in fine condition with good colour but chipping, and tears can be seen along the top and bottom - please look at photos carefully before purchasing. This book shows some wear and age but is a very good collector's edition. Inscription on the first page says "Happy Birthday 1952" otherwise pages are clean.
