Turkish Kilim V1 Lumbar Pillow

All kinds of cool going on in this Turkish Kilim Lumbar Pillow. This is a slit woven textile, beloved by collectors as this type of weave produces a very sharp-etched design, emphasizing the geometry of the weave. It’s exciting to note that there is a variation in stitch size, also a variation in the coloring of the yarn within each motif. These imperfections indicate a textile of substantial age. If you are anything like myself, you will be drawn to the character an emotion that a human hand represents. This Turkish Kilim Lumbar is very special indeed. There are two styles to choose from. The first, pictured here, consists solely of the floral geometric within the body of the tapestry. Predominate colorway is a deep red. Backing is made from red velvet. The second "peekaboo behind" is listed under Turkish V2 here in my closet. 24" x 16" feather insert included. My pillows are priced to cover material costs, posh cut & a bit of labour to myself.
