Twa/Pygmy Statue

A vintage African statue of a pregnant Twa (aka pygmy) woman. She wears a necklace with beads and has a similar cord around her waist. Her belly button is protruding. There is a split in the wood but it looks like it was made like that, with part of the crack centered in the buttocks. There is a chip in the wood near her right elbow. Its origin is probably with the Tikar people of Cameroon. The statue is about 7 1/2" tall and is 5" wide by 4 1/4" deep.
