Set of Two Vintage Candleholders by New Martinsville Glass Co. Janice Pattern. This is a pair of New Martinsville Janice pattern elegant depression glass single light candle holders. Crafted in West Virginia, USA, New Martinsville Glass Company produced Janice from 1926. Measurements: Each candlestick is 5 1/2" in height and 5 1/8 inches in diameter at the base. "The Janice line (#4500) was introduced by the New Martinsville Glass Company (later renamed the Viking Glass Company) in 1926. Though initially only available in crystal (clear) glass blanks, the Janice line was eventually available in a large range of colours. In total, about 65 different items were made under the line, including candlesticks, candy dishes, tableware, condiment sets, sherbet glasses and goblets. The line was discontinued in 1970."
