I have purchased both on and off posh many times in the past two years. For the most part this community has been very pleasant to deal with, but ofcourse as with anything, I have also had a couple of bad experiences. The few times I have had a bad experience I never felt the need to make it public as I like to give people the benefit of doubt, so I always assumed that my experience with them might have just been a one off and that most others won't have the same bad experience. With @wannabee1lux I have now had TWO bad experiences with and I am making this post to warn other buyers. This is just MY experience with her, and as she sells mostly of posh, I want buyers to be informed. In September of 2021 I decided to purchase a blue chanel bag from her. This would be my first time making a big purchase off posh. She described this bag as "great condition" "9/10 condition" and said there were "no rubs or scuffs". When I received the bag, it was far from how she described it. There were lots of scuffs and alot of creasing which she never mentioned in her description or showed in the pictures. When I sent her pics of the scuffs she blamed it on shipping saying it wasn't like that when she shipped it. Prior to recieving the bag I was in talks to purchase a pink chanel bag from her too. To apologize for this "inconvenience " as she called it, she offered to throw in a pair of used LV flats that she had listed for $160 for free. The flats size 6.5, I am 8.5. (Continued in comments)

shopmaricloset I decided against purchasing the second bag as I was extremely disappointed in the condition of the bag I had received. A couple months pass and I decide to give this seller another chance and purchase a black chanel bag from her. My friend and I both wanted this bag and couldn't decide who should buy it so we decided we would both msg @wannabee1lux and whoever sent their $$ first would get the bag.

shopmaricloset She agreed to sell the bag to me for $2200 and I sent her a the first payment. We had agreed to send in 3 payments as I have a transfer limit. I then thought it would be better to send the entire amount from a different account so she can ship the bag sooner (I had a limit on the first account). When I asked her she started to make excuses about why she couldn't send the money back.

shopmaricloset What I wasn't aware of at this time was that minutes after she received my first payment, she had msged my friend that she could sell the bag to her for $2000. When I showed the msgs to my friend she also showed me hers and this is when I saw that she was trying to get my friend to send her money as well for a bag I had already sent a payment for. Now I would understand if she was trying to sell it for a higher price, but she was offering it to her for $200 less than what I agreed to pay.

shopmaricloset I was already a little anxious because of my last experience with her, but now I was sure I didn't want to continue the transaction. I informed her that I was feeling uneasy and that I wanted to cancel the transaction. I'm not sure what exactly her intentions were in taking $$ from both us but after alot of back and forth, she finally sent my money back after about 15 hours.

It is not worth it.Although I was sold fakes and lost 2 wonderful Dior's and was out 2300 for fake LV's .

I had my share of bad experience as well and took it up to Poshmark Support to take down his account. What he did was he stole my photos of my designer bag from my Ki jijiii listing and use them in here. Apparently, his listing and account stayed for couple more days.

vanposh453 Sorry you had such a bad experience. I just had a bad experience buying a Canada Goose jacket from a Ambassador. I knew instantly when I received it it was fake. She tried to say it’s my fault and the tag said Cnd Goose so she could list it as Cnd Goose (?!? lol). Posh reversed it but very dishonest coming from an Ambassador (who should adhere to the no replica policy) with no mention of it being inauthentic in the listing. Feel bad if someone couldn’t tell. She’s still an ambassador…

shopmaricloset @vanposh453 yupp similar thing happened to me with @rose_gold_posh (I have no problem saying who it is because she is still trying to sell them as authentic even when she knows its not) a posh ambassador, I bought 2 chanel earrings from her after she guaranteed they were authentic, had them authenticated cause they felt off and they were fake, luckily posh let me return them after I sent them pics and they deemed it inauthentic as well.

jmuibhrain101 @shopmaricloset I'm new to Posh & appalled by what you're describing. I'd be in tears if that happened to me. I hope you're OK. I thought anything $700+ had to be authenticated by Poshmark staff before a deal can proceed. I'm leary now about buying anything expensive because there are so many fakes/ replicas and despite a clear policy, they (Posh HQ) don't seem to be doing anything to de-list these items/sellers. I thought that's what made this a safer platform than some of the others.

I suggest you contact posh head office for her contact but they may not be overly sympathetic as you bought privately. Is it a genuine boy bag? If so you shouldn't have any difficulty selling it and at least getting back some of your money.

You should do the same as well, as it’s now approx 8k total she has defrauded; anything over 5k is an indictable criminal offence and there is a way to track this scammer down so we can get our $ back and make sure she never does it again. tan_nya @parsonsgreen this behavior is an acceptable. Also, seller should honour their deal. Someone offer a price and seller accepted the honour it. No one forced them to accept the offer at first place. These seller should also be boycotted. I’ve seen people being scammed here into buying counterfeit as authentic. I always try to call them out and warm the buyer. But sometimes it’s too late. We should creat a thread for listings and sellers who are selling counterfeit as authentic to warn people.

Her prices are always way too good to be true and poshmark doesn’t care about scammers if they’ve made sales on PM before. It’s so disappointing. You should still send an email to them about her, they will eventually take her account down if enough people complain.

For so many reasons, firstly it goes against Poshmark’s user agreement so if a seller or buyer wants to you are endangering your own Poshmark account. Second if they want to go off I immediately question their intent. Poshmark protects you, take advantage of that.

tan_nya Hi girls, I have come across this more often now where someone commented on a recent sold listing saying that the seller should have sold for more and she would pay more than that, and asking the seller to cancel the sale. What is wrong with these people?!? Playing dirty and sneaky. Don’t you girls agree? It did not happen to me, but this kind of behaviour just not acceptable for me…sorry for my ranting.

Here is my message about my experience with that seller: *BUYER BEWARE** DO NOT BUY FROM THIS SELLER! @summer960273 was horrible to deal with. She did not answer my questions, was rude, and was extremely unprofessional. She did not want to ensure that I received my package when there were some delivery issues, and then blocked me, providing no update on my order. It was not packaged well.

yulposher @shopmaricloset Thank you so much for letting us know. @parsonsgreen just passed on the info. I had bought a vintage Chanel and she kept telling the seller to cancel even after she had sent it to Poshmark for authentication. She told the seller to phone Poshmark directly and tell them to stop the authentication and send it back so that she could buy it off her instead.
