One of a kind 1985 Ukrainian square art piece (says right on it in Ukrainian “not a scarf” which is interesting) with a bold graphic design in blue, black and white silky fabric. Features intricate patterns and artistic details from the Ukrainian Canadian artist. Bottom left to right reads “Free Living (not a scarf) * Women’s World * 1985 * Canadian Ukrainian Organization. Along the right side at the bottom it reads “My Dignity”. Wonderful example of Ukrainian women’s rights movement in Canada in the 1980s. Perfect condition. Measures 32.5 x 32.5” square. Can be framed.
