Unbranded sample: shearling & leather slingback heels, EU40, NWOT

This fuzzy and adorable pair of shearling slingbacks was acquired as an unbranded tradeshow sample. They are of course impeccably made in Italy, with an all-leather construction and a 3.5" cylindrical heel. Just in time for Vogue to feature shearling footwear as one of their must-have fall trends! Shearling heels aren't exactly new - many of the mainstream designers have done at least one version, including Chloé, Marni, Balenciaga and Off-White (final picture featuring some examples). It's that time of year when things start to get a bit chilly, when putting shearling on your feet is ever so comforting, but there's no reason to restrict that to just fuzzy slippers or Uggs. The fashion world agrees, shearling shoes are entirely a thing. Plus they look especially cute on the foot and make your legs and ankles look extra slender. This pair is marked size EU40, and sadly for me, they're just a bit tight. I do think they could still work for a size 9.5 with narrower feet, but probably the best fit would be for a size 9. This pair is in pristine condition as they have never been worn.
