This is "Uncle Tom's Cabin" by Harriet Beecher Stowe. It was published by J. M. Dent & Sons and E. P. Dutton & Co. as part of their Everyman's Library series, title no. 371, in 1909. This is the 1922 reprint of that edition.
This little antique book is an embossed maroon leatherette edition with gilt lettering and decoration on the spine and a gilt publisher's cartouche on the cover. The top edge of the page block has also been gilded. It has highly decorated endpapers and title page designed in the Arts and Crafts style by Reginald L. Knowles.
It is in very good condition. There is some wear and marks to the cover, and wear and fraying to the spine with bumped corners. There is a tidy inscription opposite the half title page. There are no marks that I could find inside, only some of yellowing from age. The binding is sound. Please see all the photos.
