Unframed Original Watercolour Art by Alberta Artist Whimsical Bird Angels

Drawing these little bird characters always makes me feel a little calmer & a little happier. I actually started drawing and painting them almost 20 years ago when I really began to having frequent panic attacks and problems with anxiety & depression. They didn’t fix me, the mental health struggles still plague me but knowing I’d found art as a coping mechanism was unexpected and interesting surprise. I love drawing all kinds of cartoons about these sunny little guys. These ones here are supposed to be angelic and having a magical morning meditation on their respective clouds between the rainbows. My hope for any of my cartoon bird art is to bring love and help to everyone who comes across them, especially those struggling with their own mental health battles.
